Cole Lacey joined the Wicomico County team in October 2017. For the past eight years, Lacey was the director of sports at Crown Sports Center in Fruitland, Maryland, where his role was to oversee in-house sports leagues, camps and clinics.
Born and raised in Medford, New Jersey, Lacey moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland after graduating from Wesley College with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Lacey was also a member of the men's soccer team during his time at Wesley. Passionate about all sports, Lacey's primary responsibilities include attracting and retaining sports events, providing event coordination services and consultation to event organizers, as well as hosting and managing in-house events.
Chip Woytowitz joined the Wicomico County team in April 2021. For the past five years, Woytowitz worked in Minor League Baseball for the Norfolk Tides and Delmarva Shorebirds. He oversaw the Community Relations Department, while servicing season ticket holders and group outing clients. Woytowitz was born in Annapolis, Maryland, then moved to Virginia Beach, where he graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. Woytowitz was also a goalie on ODU’s men’s lacrosse team.
He has a passion for all sports, and his main
responsibilities include building relationships with sports
organizers, helping coordinate with event organizers and facility managers, and
selling sponsorships. In his free time, Woytowitz enjoys spending time with his
wife, playing golf and wiffleball, and cheering on the Ravens.
Adam Workman joined the Wicomico County team in the summer of 2021. He previously worked part-time for the County and interned with USSSA East, through which he was a part of the USSSA Eastern Nationals, held in Wicomico County.
Born here in Salisbury, Maryland, Workman went to Shepherd
University in West Virginia and earned a bachelor’s degree in sports marketing.
At Shepherd, he was a member of the men’s golf team and the Lambda Chi Alpha
fraternity, through which he learned to work in a community setting with a
team-oriented goal in mind. His responsibilities include providing event
coordination, maintaining relationships with venues and planning new events.
